License Activation

Overview

Slotara asks for your Envato purchase code once, the first time a super admin opens the admin panel. Activation checks the code with Envato and ties it to your domain. Everything license-related lives in Admin โ†’ System โ†’ License & Updates (/admin/license-updates): status, activation, moving to another domain, updates and a modules summary.

One-time

Only the Super Admin panel (/admin) needs a license. Business owners, staff, clients and all public booking pages keep working whatever the license state, so your customers are never locked out.

After activation the license is checked offline on every request. Slotara contacts the license server once a day in the background; if it can't be reached, everything keeps working on the stored license for up to 30 days.

Activating

  1. Sign in at /admin as the super admin.
  2. Open System โ†’ License & Updates and click Activate license. (Before activation the admin may also send you to the standalone /license page, which works the same way.)
  3. Enter your Envato purchase code and a contact email, then click Submit.
  4. The License card turns Active and shows your domain, license type and support expiry.

{info} The contact email is used only for license and update notices about Slotara. Envato doesn't share buyer emails with authors, so this is the only way we can reach you about your license.

Finding Your Purchase Code

  1. Go to your CodeCanyon Downloads page.
  2. Next to Slotara, click Download โ†’ License certificate & purchase code.
  3. The code looks like xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx.

Local & Staging Sites

A Regular License covers one production domain. Local and staging installs don't use it up, so you can also activate the same code on:

  • localhost, 127.0.0.1 and private network addresses
  • domains ending in .test, .local or .localhost
  • a staging subdomain of your licensed domain: staging., stage., dev., test. or local. in front of it. For example, with yourdomain.com activated, staging.yourdomain.com is free.

Up to 3 local/staging installs per license. A staging subdomain of a domain that isn't activated counts as a production domain.

Moving to Another Domain

To move Slotara to a new domain or server:

  1. On the old site, open System โ†’ License & Updates and click Move to another domain.
  2. Enter your purchase code and click Release. Add-on modules are released with it.
  3. Activate on the new site as usual. Add-ons you had activated come back automatically on the new domain.

If the old site is already gone, contact support with your purchase code and we'll release it for you.
