Invoices

Overview

Invoices is a free official add-on. Every business gets professional invoices, created automatically from bookings or by hand, and a clean, print-ready invoice page for its customers.

Free add-on

Businesses find it in their panel under Payments โ†’ Invoices:

  • At a glance: Outstanding, Overdue and Paid this month totals. The menu shows how many invoices are waiting for payment (red when one is overdue).
  • Search and filter by customer, number and status, or show only overdue invoices.
  • One-click actions: customer view, mark paid, mark sent, duplicate, void.

Installing

  1. Admin โ†’ System โ†’ Modules โ†’ Available add-ons โ†’ Invoices โ†’ Install.
  2. That's it: Invoices is available to every business (it isn't sold per plan).

Automatic Invoices from Bookings

Every new booking with a price gets an invoice:

Booking Invoice
Paid online Paid, dated today
Pay later / offline Sent, due after the business's payment terms (e.g. 14 days)
Paid later (status changes to paid) Switches to Paid automatically
Free (price 0) No invoice

The invoice has one line for the service and appointment time, and uses the business's tax settings. When a tax rate is set, the booking price is treated as tax-inclusive.

Businesses can turn this off in Invoices โ†’ Settings.

Creating an Invoice

Invoices โ†’ New invoice:

  1. Bill to: customer name, email, address or tax number.
  2. Details: issue date, due date, status, currency. The invoice number (e.g. INV-0001) is assigned when you save.
  3. Items: description, quantity and price. Amounts and totals update as you type.
  4. Total: tax name and rate, with subtotal, tax and total shown live.
  5. Notes: shown on the invoice (e.g. "Thank you for your business").

Duplicate copies an invoice as a new draft, handy for repeat customers.

Sharing and Printing

Each invoice has a private customer link: Customer view in the invoice's menu. Mark as sent also shows the link to copy.

The customer page:

  • uses the business's logo and brand colour,
  • shows a Paid, Overdue or Void ribbon,
  • includes the business's "how to pay" instructions while unpaid,
  • has a Print / Save as PDF button and prints cleanly on A4.

The link is 40 random characters, so it can't be guessed, and it is hidden from search engines.
